Good to know

Interested in tuplita.ai and want to learn more? Here we answer key questions about our platform, our approach, and AI in mediation.

1. What is tuplita.ai?

tuplita.ai is an AI-supported platform for mediators, coaches, and organizations. We offer tools for training, preparation, and reflection in conflict work — developed through and for professional practice.

2. Who is tuplita.ai for?

tuplita.ai is for everyone who works with conflict professionally and confidentially: mediators, coaches, consultants, professionals in counseling services, HR departments, and organizations. Whether for an individual practice or a company — we develop tools for different contexts. In the longer term, we also want to offer people in conflict situations a low-threshold entry point — as orientation, and as a bridge to professionals listed with recognized professional associations.

3. What role do mediators play at tuplita.ai?

A central one — because mediation lives on human encounter. The experts focus their energy on working with their clients. tuplita.ai takes care of everything around it — preparation, documentation, training and lowers the threshold so that more people find their way to professional support in the first place.

4. Who is behind tuplita.ai?

tuplita.ai was founded by Julia Stadler and Aline Almeida. Julia is a certified mediator and holds a PhD in political science and conflict research. Aline is an AI expert with a PhD in algorithms and over 20 years of experience in software engineering — including at Amazon Robotics AI, Petrobras, and io.net. Together, we combine mediation practice with technical expertise. tuplita.ai is funded by the Gründungsstipendium Niedersachsen startup grant through NBank and Niedersachsen.next Startup.
More about us

5. What do I use it for?

Our first features include a simulation module for mediation training: you can practice with classic cases or create your own scenarios, in which AI-driven parties respond to your interventions. Further tools for preparation, case analysis, and structured reflection are in development.

6. How realistic are the AI simulations?

We have worked intensively to make the simulated parties behave realistically — meaning: not too cooperative, not too quick to move toward solutions. Real conflicts have friction. Parties hold back information, test boundaries, and need time to open up. Our simulations reflect these dynamics so that the training stays true to practice.

7. Does tuplita.ai follow the German Mediation Act?

Yes. Our platform is grounded in the core principles of the German Mediation Act (Mediationsgesetz): neutrality, the parties' ownership of the outcome, and confidentiality. These principles are embedded in the design of our AI.

8. Where can I find a mediator?

In Germany, several professional associations maintain directories of certified mediators, including:

A comprehensive overview is provided by the Deutsche Stiftung Mediation at stiftung-mediation.de. All directories are freely accessible.

In the long term, we are working to make the path from first orientation to the right professional support easier via tuplita.ai — connecting to professionals listed with these recognized associations.

9. How does tuplita.ai protect my data?

Confidentiality is a core principle of mediation — and a design principle of our platform. We host with a focus on Germany and Europe and work with carefully selected service providers with corresponding GDPR guarantees. Data protection is not an afterthought for us — it's the starting point of our architecture.
