About us
Mediation works — but far too few people ever find their way to it. tuplita.ai builds tools that make it easier to take the first step toward positive conflict resolution. Our team combines mediation and AI expertise. We develop in Germany: with data protection from day one and an honest look at what people actually need.
The Team
The Founders
Conflict expertise meets technology: a certified mediator and an AI expert are building together the platform they wish they’d had for their own work.

Full Bio - Julia Stadler
Certified mediator and political scientist (PhD) specializing in conflict analysis, participation, and institutional design. Member of the Bundesverband Mediation (German Federal Mediation Association).
Julia brings extensive experience from a wide range of fields: mediation practice with individuals and organizations, digital transformation consulting, team development, and leadership roles in international NGOs, including board responsibility and large-scale humanitarian initiatives. She has worked closely with public institutions, ministries, and the education sector, and has taught highly diverse groups across different cultural and professional contexts. Fluent in five languages, she combines the analytical rigor of her academic work with a practical understanding of what people in conflict situations actually need.
For years, she has observed the same pattern: conflicts escalate because early, low-threshold support is missing. People only seek help once trust is already deeply damaged, even though many situations could have been resolved earlier, more easily, and more gently.
At tuplita.ai, she is responsible for product vision, mediation methodology, professional content quality, partnerships with mediators and institutions, and overall strategy. Rooted in Lower Saxony, she has deep personal and professional ties to regional institutions, associations, and the public sector.

Computer scientist (PhD in Algorithms) with over 20 years of experience in software, AI, and distributed systems across large enterprises, regulated industries, and global startups. Previous roles at Amazon Robotics AI, io.net, and Petrobras. She combines technical depth with a commitment to building safe, responsible, and practice-oriented technology.
Full Bio - Aline Almeida
Computer scientist (PhD in graph theory, algorithms, and optimization) with over 20 years of experience building software, AI, and distributed systems in startups, large enterprises, and regulated industries.
Aline has led high-growth engineering teams and designed large-scale AI infrastructure, including as SVP of Engineering at io.net and Head of Research at the io.net Foundation. Earlier positions at Amazon Robotics AI in Germany and Petrobras in Brazil gave her extensive experience designing secure data and ML systems in regulated environments, including GDPR- and ISO-related processes. She also built her own AI consultancy in Germany, working with global startups and Fortune 100 companies.
Throughout her career, she has seen again and again how much is lost in organizations to unresolved conflict: highly capable teams that break apart because tensions were ignored for too long. These experiences, combined with her long-standing Aikido practice, shape her stance: don't avoid conflict — work with it.
At tuplita.ai, she is responsible for technical architecture and development, AI engineering and research, product development, IT security and compliance, and technical strategy.

Why we're building tuplita
tuplita.ai closes the gap between early conflict and professional support
We’ve been a good team for many years. Back in 2010, we built an online ordering system together for the sustainability network Rede Ecológica in Rio de Janeiro — it’s still in use today.
Then as now, we come at the same question from different perspectives and use our respective strengths to build a shared answer. And we’ve experienced it again and again: our different strengths don’t just complement each other — they bring out the best in each other.
Our professional paths were separate for a long time: Julia in conflict research and mediation practice, Aline in AI and software engineering. At Tuplita, they come together — as an answer to a question that has been with both of us for years: How can we use technology so that more people find timely access to good conflict support?
Julia understands what mediators and people in conflict need. Aline knows how to build effective, future-proof technology for people. Tuplita is where the two come together — technology that serves the practice, not the other way around.
